Cadet James E. Heffner - USS Gallifrey- There isn't anyone who qualifies for this award more than Cadet James E. Heffner of the USS Gallifrey, a member of my Command Personnel who is still in Training Status and assigned to the Public Relations Division. Even before he joined STARFLEET, while we were still only members of The Guardians of the Space Frontier, attending conventions as a local group and setting up small recruiting tables, James was extremely motivated and excited about everything he was involved in where our Chapter was concerned. He willingly volunteered constantly for all projects and duties open to him. He was our greatest asset at conventions, where he spent hours without taking a break to pass out flyers, speak with customers and convention goers, and to promote our organization. In fact, it was James who first showed an interest in STARFLEET at the Region One Fall Conference, which motivated the rest of us to consider joining STARFLEET seriously. (210302)

Particularly, she is always askin' to do "Check-ups" on the crew to ensure their good health. She loves her position as Medical Cadet, never gettin' enough to do or enough education convernin' her position or the field of medicine. She has written and drawn contributions for the newsletter on her own, as lead the way for the Medical Department at conventions, recruitin' events, promotional events, and introducin' new medical procedures on the GALLIFREY. She and her services to the GALLIFREY and the Region are outstandin' and very remarkable, considerin' her age. (210403)

He continues to work long hours at events without taking a break very many of the times in order to promote the chapter and recruit the younger members of the general public. He is always the first to ask what he can do to help, to encourage a scheduled event, to hold a chapter activity, and to invite other chapters and outside groups to participate. Whenever things become stressful and anyone even mentions the possibility of giving up for whatever reason, Cadet James E.
